Malevich Circle
The circle is time itself made visible: a closed line without beginning, without end, indifferent to the hour it displays. Malevich painted it, we wind it.
One of the three watches of the Raketa Malevich Triptych, made in an edition of 100. It stands in its own bay in the hall, beside the painting it comes from.

The other two
I. Malevich Square
In 1915 Malevich exhibited a black square hung across a corner of the room, where an orthodox Russian icon would sit. A century later the square returns to the dial — a refusal of ornament, a horizon.
III. Malevich Cross
Two lines meeting at a right angle — the oldest coordinate, the plainest architecture. The Cross anchors the triptych between reduction and rotation.
The Triptych
All three watches in one box — Square, Circle and Cross, numbered as a set. At the end of the hall the wall turns and the three stand together. $4,990, edition of 100 sets.
